December 2022 - Ukrainian Lives Are At Stake

Dear Nourished Hearts Partners, Thanks to your generosity, over 1,000 Ukrainian brothers and sisters received temporary shelter, food, and life-saving medicine this year. Because of your care, six Ukrainian families received international relocation assistance, and Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw, Poland, received needed therapy tools and toys. Because of your heart, a disabled man in Kilia received mobility in the form of a scooter, and our Yuzhny program purchased a used van for much-needed transportation. With your help, many Ukrainian children have been given a safe refuge when out of school, help with school work, medical attention, food, social play, a sense of belonging, creative craft time, and daily Bible stories. Because of your prayers, seven Ukrainians accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, and thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were reached by a Kilia brother serving as a chaplain on the front lines. On their behalf, thank you for your consistent prayers and generosity. In this last letter of the year, our goal is to provide Christmas for Ukrainian children and their families in need by raising $20,000 by December 31. We’re reaching out to you because you’ve already demonstrated your compassion for Ukraine. Your exceptional year-end contribution could make the following possible:

  • $20 to give a Ukrainian child a Christmas gift and their family meat for their Christmas meal.

  • $100 to supply one week of groceries for a distressed Ukrainian family.

  • $250 to supply heat for a Ukrainian household for one month.

  • $500 to offer internal relocation assistance to a family avoiding war.

With your support, we can significantly impact two Ukrainian communities, Kilia and Yuzhny. Please join us by making your gift on our online donation form at nourishedhearts.org or by sending a check to the address below. Lives are at stake. We need your partnership. Thank you for your continued support. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Nourished Hearts, Kim de Blecourt, President Nourished Hearts
